Even small water damage needs repair

This office space had what was thought to be minor water damage. In this case, it would have been minor if action had been taken quickly. By letting the water sit and keep the carpet and the trim damp for too long, mold and odor started to appear, causing a major mess. If we had been called earlier, we could have mitigated further damage by strategically drying out the carpet and trim, reducing the likelihood of mold and odor. Instead, we went to tear out the trim, mitigate a small amount of mold, and dry the carpet.
