Fire damage from light fixture
This is fire damage that was caused by an electrical fire and resulted in additional water damage from the fire department needing to put out the fire. Luckily the fire department was able to reach early enough. In order to fix the ceiling SERVPRO needed to tear out and dispose of damaged building material. The carpet underneath and some parts of the attic needed to be dried and hit with dehumidifiers because of the firefighting efforts. Doing this quickly meant we were able to mitigate mold growth as well. Once the usable building materials were dried, and the odor was out, SERVPRO was able to bring in the construction.
