Water damaged from toilet leak
Here is an example of water damage caused by a malfunctioning toilet. Luckily this toilet was not being used at the time of the incident so the water was not contaminated. As water seeped out and sat, the tiles, sheetrock, and carpet were damaged. The tiles were installed correctly to be water-tight, so luckily only cleaning was necessary. The sheetrock, however, had to be taken out, discarded, and replaced because of the permanent damages. The carpet was salvageable because contaminated water did not come into contact with it and the water did not sit for too long.
